Mommy and I went to the post office today to mail her postcards for all her friends. After placing all stamps she asked the kind lady if the stamps cancellation will be dated today, November 11, 2011. But the lady said we should just go inside and ask the person in charge to do it to reflect 11-11-11, today’s date.

We went inside and met Mr. Tata Gabutan who welcomed us and showed us how it was done.

My mommy was so happy. November 11, 2011 will NOT come in full circle again, so it is quite a unique date.. Mr. Gabutan then showed us where the mails and posts are gonna be placed afterwards..

It was really nice of him to show us his tasks and his area.. We even had a photo, my mom’s idea. He was holding what’s left of my mommy’s mails and posts.. The rest have already been segregated according to their destination.

Too bad the Cagayan de Oro City Post Office was eaten by the fire.. Now, the transactions happen at the back of the burned building..

Sad, it is not repaired yet.. All the more people get turned off when visiting the place..

I have started posting on this blog but I have not posted my previous activities at school. For the month of July, we had Linggo ng Wika, and this was the costume I wore for a school activity.

My mommy and my Ina bought this in Gaisano Mall and this was the only one that we all liked. All the other colors were boring. When I wore this at school, I changed on my own because Yaya Delia was nowhere in sight. She arrived when we were done and I was able to change back to my school uniform. It was an activity inside the classroom only. No parents allowed. I wish mommy had seen me recite my piece.

Guess what? Since yesterday, there was no water in our place. It came back in the afternoon we only had our bath in the afternoon. Then today also, there was no water, plus there was no electricity. It came back at twelve so we took a bath and went out for lunch, then to church and bought groceries. When we came home, there was no electricity again. So we played outside for a bit. Then went inside and played games on mommy’s laptop.

When mommy’s laptop died, we got bored. So we started reading. Then mommy said we should play words. She told me to get her box of Skrib age, and started playing.. First, mommy was winning all the time, then I won too. We continued playing until electricity came back, then paused for dinner and a bath, then played again.. I was very happy. Mommy said I need to read more books so that I will learn new words. Okay so we stopped playing because mommy needed to go back to work. And I need to sleep.. Good thing there will be no class tomorrow, I can wake up late..
